The thickness of the texture of the bark does play a part in the overall flexibility of the sheets, but in general, most sheets can wrap around a 1″ diameter tube.

Our faux stone, brick and wood panels vary in weight depending on the panel, check product specifications for accurate information. But in general, are close to 1 lb./sq. foot.
Although our panels are incredibly realistic, keep in mind that they are not a stone product, we manufacture them utilizing high-density polyurethane. With that in mind, you can use all of our polyurethane panels around a fireplace opening, insert, or stove, provided you follow the fireplace insert/stove manufacturer’s specifications for required clearances.
When using our panels around an open hearth where there will be a “live flame” (e.g., wood, coal, etc.), we recommend that you use stone or any non-flammable border (minimum 6″) before starting our panels. And then use Class-A fire-rated panels for the area immediately surrounding the opening. Please note that anytime our panels are used in conjunction with a chance of a live flame or embers coming in contact with the said panel, we recommend using a Class-A fire rating. Remember that a Class-A fire rating makes the panels more fire and heat retardant but does not make them fire-proof.
Other than this, you can use our standard panels with the same clearances observed as the fireplace/stove manufacturer recommends for any standard paneling material or sheetrock. You must adhere to each building’s fire codes concerning clearances that are applicable in your area.
Our faux stone panels and our other textures replicate every detail of the natural material. Each panel is hand-painted with a multi-step process to ensure that every panel is stunningly realistic.
For the most part, we do not recommend using these panels as flooring. They are to be used on walls and ceilings only.
