Our Story
The Makings of Prop House Productions
Prop House Productions came into fruition because there was not a company available that could provide the full-scale requirements needed for an all-inclusive corporate or private social function. Before PHP came to be, it was just a handful of creative artists managing corporate and private events. As more clients reached out to us, we found there was a need for a more immersive experience. So, we started designing and fabricating custom pieces to accommodate. Now our company can offer many avenues for creating that all-inclusive, one-of-a-kind experience. An example of an immersive event we have completed is a Roaring 1920's private gala which included live music, choreographed performances, and props, all of which were authentic to the time period. In order to prep the space for the gala, we restored the original speak easy back to it's former glory while bringing it up to modern-day building code. Period cars were procured for staging, costuming was made in-house, and props for staging and choreographed performances (such as breakaway glasses and tables) were also created in-house. Meet the Team
Scott - Owner
As an experienced scenic design artist, fabricator, and co-owner of PHP with his wife DeAnn and business partners Greg & Valerie, Scott works with the clients on custom designs, concepts, and event needs. In addition, he works in the shop with the project manager on projects regarding props fabrication, foam sculpting, and animatronics.
DeAnn - Owner
As an experienced seamstress and co-owner of PHP with her husband Scott and business partners Greg & Valerie, DeAnn handles any props fabrication pertaining to fabric/costuming and coordinates with the performers. Her talent of thinking outside the box and attention to detail aids in not only office administration but also the final details of project completion for custom themed experiences.
Greg - Owner
As an experienced fabricator, builder, and co-owner of PHP with business partners Scott & DeAnn, and wife Valerie, Greg has an extensive background in and props fabrication and themed environments. His skill set also includes model- and mold-making and restorations. Greg is the point of contact for new and existing clientele and event/project coordinations. He works closely with the clients regarding creative designs, budgets, and project coordination.
Valerie - Owner
As co-owner of PHP with business partners Scott & DeAnn, and husband Greg, Valerie also handles the office administration and directs performers. As an extremely experienced and talented photographer, she provides direction over all things social. Her extensive general knowledge and knack for finding solutions makes her a treasure not only in the office but also on projects to enhance immersive events.
Ma'le - Project Manager
With over 30 years experience, Ma'le manages all of our projects to make sure we finish on-time, at budget, and with high-quality. Some of his skill set includes props fabrication, themed construction, hard-coating, painting, restoration, and finishing/detail work.
Jonathan - Creative Director
Jonathan has worked in the movie and entertainment industry for over 15 years including special effects, character acting, costuming, and design. His extensive experience in the industry is an invaluable resource for visualizing and creating concepts from a unique perspective. As Creative Director, he governs the creative aspects for the company and clients in order to have satisfying custom themed experiences.
Alina - Business Operations Manager
Alina's unique experience in business makes her an invaluable member to the administrative team. Her versatility translates to an asset in the shop as well in assisting with builds, props fabrication, and projects.
Katie - Procurement Specialist
There is no job too big or too small! Katie makes magic happen when it comes to locating what we need for our clients. Her ability to find the right materials makes her an important part of every project and immersive events.
Monica - Social Media Specialist
As our social butterfly on the team, Monica is busy behind the scenes managing our online presence. By staying current on industry trends for props fabrication and custom themed experiences, she keeps our innovation moving forward.
Danielle - Concept Creator
Danielle gives life to an abstract idea! She focuses on the details of a creative project while also creating the mood, tone, and feeling of a specific scene or character.
Chris & Craig - Consultants
Chris is our main go-to for sourcing prop and costume materials. Craig is our main go-to for tech and tech-related design. Their knowledge is invaluable for immersive events.
LeAnn - Online Sales Manager
LeAnn keeps a sharp eye on our online orders and sales to make sure every order is accounted for!
